Bianca and Jarrett first met in high school – they even attended a prom together. These two both grew up in North Huntingdon – they wanted their wedding to reflect fall vibes, very warm and inviting.
Bianca got ready at her mom’s house. Her grandmother had made all the favors – the Jordan almonds which are an Italian tradition. Bianca’s father had unfortunately been dealing with Covid and health complications, so he wasn’t able to walk her down the aisle. Her brother stepped up and walked her down, and dad left a lovely voice message that was played during the reception in lieu of a father-daughter dance – there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
These two got married at Immaculate Conception in Irwin and then we headed to a former client of mine’s (and friends and old neighbors!) private wooded property for photos – it was great because the leaves were falling AND it was right by the church and Antonelli’s – thanks so much to Mike and Abby for letting us use your beautiful yard. It’s always a challenge out near Antontelli’s to find a good photo spot since so much of North Huntingdon is private property or housing developments. So you have to really get creative as a photographer to find spaces nearby. We like to scout for all our weddings and knock on doors if we need to in the week leading up to the wedding to find the best photo spots!
Bianca and Jarrett are going to take a delayed honeymoon, possibly to St. Lucia. They’ve been together for seven years, got engaged at the West End Overlook, and Bianca definitely incorporated her love of sparkles and glitz and glam in this wedding! Jarrett was just the nicest groom. One of my favorite moments from the day was, despite the drizzle, Bianca jumping on Jarrett’s back for a fun photo and the laughter they shared!
